Take time to study your spelling a little bit each night. Studying your words in a variety of ways helps, such as writing them down, spelling them out loud to a parent or pretending to write them out in the air.

If you miss 1 or zero words on the pretest, which is taken the first day of the school week, you should study the Enrichment list.
If you miss 2-5 words on your pretest, you should study the regular list (first 20 words) along with the Challenge words (the last 5 words).
If you miss more than 5 on your pretest, you should study the regular list of 20 words.
